Icelandic Beverage & Food Tasting Event with ISCCJ

The Icelandic whisky FLÓKI, which arrived in Japan in 2020, has been very well received since its launch in Japan. The Icelandic distillery EIMVERK representatives have decided to visit Japan and hold a tasting and seminar event at the Icelandic Embassy in Tokyo together with the Icelandic Chamber of Commerce for department stores, liquor retailers, hotels, wholesellers, and restaurants. 

DCCJ Members are invited to partcipate in this special event, that will be held at the Icelandic Embassy in Tokyo. Alongside the whisky tasting the following Icelandic delicacies will also be served:

・Icelandic Glacial, a cool drinking water from Iceland.

・Icelandic lamb* from the Icelandic Lamb Association, prepared by the chef.

・Icelandic salmon sashimi and open sandwiches from Icelandic Japan.

・Date and time: 16 Feb, Friday, 16:00 doors open, 16:30-19:00

・Place: Embassy of Iceland in Japan 4-18-26 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo 108-0074, Japan

＊Consecutive interpretation available

Ms. Eva from the Eimverk distillery will talk about the whiskies they produce and give a tasting afterwards.

Light food, drink pairings and Icelandic ingredients used foods will be provided.

当日は生産元であるアイムヴァーク蒸留所のEva氏より生産しているウィスキーについての生産秘話についてお話いただき、その後試飲会を行います。
