Job Opportunity: Finance and Event Management Coordinator (Part-time)

Position Type: Part-time (20 hours per month)

With a focus on promoting trade, investment, and cultural exchange, DCCJ plays a vital role in facilitating networking opportunities, organizing events, and providing valuable resources to its members.


Position Overview: DCCJ is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Finance and Event Management Coordinator on a part-time basis. This role will primarily involve overseeing financial activities and occasionally supporting the execution of events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain financial records, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports on budgets and provide regular updates to the Executive Board and Executive Director.

  • Occasionally provide on-site support during events, including registration management and participant coordination.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in finance, accounting or event management is preferred.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Danish or Japanese is a plus.

  • Flexible schedule with availability to work approximately 20 hours per month mostly remote but occasionally on location in regards with events.
