Dear Members of DCCJ,
As the warm and heavy breeze of summer embraces us, we would like to extend our heartfelt greetings and share a recap of the exciting events that have unfolded in the first six months of this year at the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
Our event calendar has been brimming with engaging activities and opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. From the DCCJ Annual General Meeting of 2023 to the Nordic Craft Beer Evening, the DEI Event on Leadership Stories at the Swedish Embassy, Scandinavian Connect SAS Event, and the National Day Celebration at the Danish Embassy in Tokyo, we have held a diverse range of events that foster collaboration, exchange of ideas, and business growth within our community.
We are thrilled to welcome four new Corporate Members—Albatros Travel, ALK, Orsted Japan, and Stibo Systems—along with five new Individual Members: Augusta Jalving Jepsen, Arne Fahje, Evelyn Farlov, Nora Rottscholl, and Valentina Matsunaga. We are excited to have you on board and eagerly look forward to collaborating on future projects and initiatives.
At DCCJ we are also excited to announce the launch of our new website, and we encourage all members to visit and explore its fresh features and updated content.
Looking ahead, we are delighted to announce an exciting lineup of upcoming events, including Nordic Share & Connect, Sarugaku Matsuri, and a follow-up on our DEI event and initiative. Additionally, we are extending an open call for sponsors for two flagship events: the DCCJ X'mas Beer Event on November 2nd and the Nordic Christmas Cocktail Party on December 7th. This is an exceptional opportunity for organizations to showcase their support for Danish-Japanese business relations and gain visibility among a diverse audience.
Please note that DCCJ will temporarily close its doors for the summer break from mid-July until mid-August. During this time, we kindly remind all members to ensure their membership fees are up to date in order to continue enjoying the benefits of being part of our vibrant community. We express our deep gratitude to our members, partners, and supporters for their active participation and continuous support.
Stay tuned for more details as we further strengthen the bond among our members and foster business success in Japan after the summer break. On behalf of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan, we wish you a delightful summer filled with joy, relaxation, and new opportunities.
Sincerely,
Peter Roland
