Dear esteemed Members and Friends,
As summer unfolds with its warmth and vitality, I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the vibrant season.
At the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan, we have much to celebrate as we reflect on the first half of the year. Our community has grown stronger, and our events have brought us closer, fostering meaningful connections and opportunities, especially within the Nordic sphere as the Osaka Expo' 2025 approaches.
As we head into the summer months, I encourage you to take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beautiful moments this season offers. Whether you are traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying the long days, may your summer be filled with joy and relaxation.
On a more serious note we will also be saying goodbye to our Executive Director – Josefine Lund Praestekjaer – as she has decided to take up a new challenge. I personally would like to thank Josefine for her hard work and dedication to the Chamber. She has, without doubt, put her mark on the organization and done her part to move it forward in a positive direction. Josefine’s last day will be 31st of July.
In connection with this, I would like to encourage anybody who is up for the challenge to apply for the position of Executive Director. A job that offers you the opportunity to be in the center of Danish and Japanese relations.
We look forward to reconnecting in the fall with all our exciting events and initiatives planned for the rest of the year.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement with the DCCJ.
Wishing you a wonderful summer!
Warm regards,
Peter Roland
Chairman, Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan
